By creating an account, accessing, or using the platform, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using it.
1. Introduction and scope
These Terms govern access to Baluthi through its web application, mobile application, and other official interfaces. The platform is intended for personal use by persons with legal capacity; minors may use it only through or under the responsibility of a legal representative.
2. Definitions
- Baluthi: a digital personal finance management platform.
- User: a person who creates an account and uses the platform.
- Account: credentials and information linked to the user.
- Plan: a free or paid tier with its own features and limits.
- User Content: data, records, documents, and attachments entered by the user.
- Financial Data: income, expenses, accounts, cards, bills, transfers, categories, reports, and receipts.
3. Purpose and service limits
Depending on the plan, Baluthi provides tools to record income and expenses, accounts, cards, bills, transfers, recurring transactions, installments, charges, receipts, reports, and projections.
The platform is an organizational aid and does not provide financial, accounting, tax, legal, investment, or credit advice, nor does it execute transactions at financial institutions without a specific integration and authorization.
4. Registration and acceptance
Users must provide truthful, complete, and current information and maintain a valid email address. False identities, unauthorized third-party data or email, fraudulent accounts, and attempts to bypass limits or permissions are prohibited.
Electronic acceptance records may be retained to demonstrate the version accepted.
5. Account security
Users are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and must promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Baluthi does not request a complete password by email, phone, or messaging app.
Users must protect their device, browser, and email and sign out on shared equipment.
6. Permitted use and prohibitions
- use the platform only for lawful purposes;
- do not violate third-party rights or upload malicious content;
- do not attempt to access other users' data or interfere with security or availability;
- do not exploit vulnerabilities, conduct unlawful reverse engineering, or use abusive automation;
- do not use the service for fraud, money laundering, or other illegal activity.
7. Plans, limits, and features
Plans may offer different features, limits, and storage. Conditions will be shown before purchase or change.
When a limit is reached, new additions may be restricted. Existing data is not automatically deleted solely because of a limit, downgrade, or benefit ending, subject to retention and closure rules.
8. Payments, renewal, and cancellation
When paid plans become available, price, billing period, taxes, renewal, and benefits will be disclosed before confirmation. Cancellation will follow the methods shown in the platform.
Withdrawal, refunds, and reimbursements follow applicable law and offer terms. Nonpayment may limit features after notice where applicable.
9. Closed beta
During the closed beta, plans and features may be under validation, changed, or discontinued. No fee will be charged without the user's express purchase and confirmation.
Because this is a validation environment, adjustments, downtime, and corrections may occur. Users should not rely on Baluthi as the sole source of essential records and should keep copies of relevant documents and information.
10. User content and responsibility
Users retain ownership of content they enter and grant Baluthi limited permission to store, process, and display it only to operate, protect, and improve the service.
Users are responsible for the legality, quality, accuracy, and rights relating to submitted content, including receipts and documents.
11. Accuracy of calculations and reports
Balances, reports, projections, and indicators depend on registered data. Incorrect, incomplete, duplicate, or outdated information may affect results.
Users must review dates, amounts, categories, accounts, and reports before making decisions or meeting financial, accounting, tax, or asset-related obligations.
12. Export and portability
The platform may provide exports in formats and volumes determined by feature, plan, and technical limits. Before closing an account, users should export data they wish to retain.
13. Third-party integrations and services
Future integrations, including Open Finance, artificial intelligence, payments, or storage, may depend on third parties and specific authorization. Additional terms may apply.
Baluthi does not control external service availability but will select providers and apply appropriate contractual and security measures.
14. Availability and changes
Baluthi uses reasonable efforts to keep the service secure and functional, but maintenance, updates, infrastructure failures, Internet outages, force majeure, or security incidents may occur.
Features may evolve, be replaced, or discontinued, with advance notice when the change is material and reasonably possible.
15. Limitation of liability
Baluthi does not guarantee profit, savings, returns, credit, tax reduction, or a specific financial result and does not replace qualified professionals.
Liability will be determined under applicable law. Nothing excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
16. Intellectual property
The brand, visual identity, code, interfaces, text, structure, and other protected elements belong to their respective owners. Copying, modifying, distributing, commercializing, decompiling, or unauthorized brand use is prohibited except as allowed by law or express license.
17. Suspension and restriction
An account may be restricted or suspended for violation, fraud, security risk, unauthorized access, technological abuse, applicable nonpayment, or legal order.
When possible and appropriate, the user will be informed and may provide clarification. Urgent protective measures may be taken without prior notice.
18. Closure and retention
Users may request account closure through available methods. Closure may result in loss of access, so users should export data first.
Data will be deleted or anonymized where appropriate, except when retention is necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, or the exercise of rights.
19. Privacy and communications
Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable law. Transactional and security communications are necessary; promotional communications will honor preferences and unsubscribe options.
New material processing operations may require specific notices or authorizations.
20. Changes, language, law, and contact
These Terms may be updated for legal, technical, or functional changes. Material changes will be communicated and may require renewed acceptance.
Spanish and English translations are provided for convenience. If interpretations differ, the Brazilian Portuguese version prevails, without excluding applicable mandatory rights.
